A national survey finds that self-identified Latinos in the United States are more convinced global warming is happening and human-caused than non-Latinos. Latinos are also more worried about global warming, more supportive of climate change policies, and more willing to demand political action. The survey by the MacArthur supported Yale Program on Climate Change Communication also finds that a majority of Latinos are willing to join a campaign to convince elected officials to take action on climate change, but most remain on the sidelines.
