A report by the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy recommends 10 best practices for designing and implementing effective energy efficiency programs for multifamily buildings. The MacArthur-supported report provides a snapshot of the possibilities for energy savings and for reaching new customers. For a variety of reasons, multifamily households are often underserved by the energy efficiency programs they help to fund. A number of leading programs across the country, however, are demonstrating that those challenges can be overcome.
