Community Investment Corporation specializes in lending, acquisition, and rehabilitation of smaller buildings in low- to moderate-income neighborhoods like Austin, where traditional lenders have shied away from investing. The case is one of a series developed by Urban to show how developers around the country have navigated complex policy and financing environments to preserve affordable housing.
