A paper produced by Living Cities explores the traits and components of successful cross-sector partnerships that can yield innovative efforts to solve deeply entrenched societal problems. The MacArthur-supported paper sets forth a strategic framework for cross-sector partnerships that have the power to transform urban systems and produce better results for low-income people. The paper reviews four diverse case studies, including Chicago’s Partnership for New Communities, an initiative supported by the Foundation.
