A report from John Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health identifies effective interventions to improve young people’s sexual and reproductive health. Researchers conducted a literature review focused on the content, quality, and evaluation of interventions focused on major health outcomes: prevention of early marriage, early pregnancy, limiting the number of children and preventing sexually transmitted infections. The report provides case studies of effective interventions, including a review of a sexual health education program that targeted youth and community-based interventions to prevent repeat pregnancy.
