A recent community piece in the National Civic Review entitled, “What Makes Regions Resilient?” sets out the themes that that will be explored by the newly-created MacArthur Research Network on Building Resilient Regions. The Network will investigate what factors, choices, or policies make regions thrive and what this means for improved regional economic, social, environmental, and political outcomes. Kathryn Foster, the author of the article, is a member of the Network.
