Since 1947, the Doomsday Clock has shown us how close humanity is to destroying itself. The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists created the clock to visualize the threat of nuclear weapons and call people to action. It has grown to account for risks such as climate change and public health. In 2022, the Bulletin commemorated the 75th anniversary of the Doomsday Clock and set the clock at 100 seconds to midnight.
