A total of $500,000 in grants will be shared among seven winners of the VotoLatino Innovators Challenge, a MacArthur-supported grant competition that encouraged millennial-led projects that leverage technology to improve conditions and learning in Latino communities. Challenge winners will use the grants to pursue projects ranging from mobile apps to help Latinos interact with their local governments, connect with mentors, find scholarships, and improve their mental and emotional health to an online entrepreneur development course and technology that will help improve migrant farmworker health.
