Eighteen social entrepreneurs from nine countries joined Echoing Green’s 2021 class of Fellows. All of the Fellows are entrepreneurs of color who are addressing urgent challenges and working toward a more equitable future. MacArthur grantee Echoing Green supports these individuals holistically by reducing barriers to capital, providing access to seed funding, connecting them to partnerships and networks of philanthropists, investors, and other entrepreneurs. The program, which MacArthur supported with a grant to Echoing Green’s Racial Equity Philanthropic Fund, aims to help the social entrepreneurs achieve their vision for system change.
