In late February, the League of Chicago Theatres announced the official launch of Hot Tix online. The new service extends the League’s program, which makes available half-price tickets on the day of the performance. Previously, half price tickets were only available at walk up Hot Tix booths in Chicago and Skokie. The service was piloted in November 2006 and is now available to all League members.
