Meeting National Security Requirements in Containing Nuclear Materials

Understanding that new terrorist threats require new prevention strategies, the MacArthur Foundation recently began funding the Project on Government Oversight, a nonprofit government watchdog group that recently examined how sites containing weapons grade nuclear material could best meet new national security requirements. After consulting with security experts throughout the federal government and conducting its own investigation, the Project released a comprehensive report to guide policymakers.
