Founders First Capital Partners announced the close of an $11 million Series A financing for underserved small businesses, including an investment from Arc Chicago LLC, which makes loans and investments for Benefit Chicago, our collaboration with The Chicago Community Trust and Calvert Impact Capital. Founders First provides more flexible, revenue-based financing, along with coaching, advisory services, and other forms of support. This approach helps to enable a more equitable business landscape in Chicago and beyond by supporting entrepreneurs of color and businesses in marginalized communities.
