Ten filmmakers received grants for their documentary projects on critical and underreported themes from the International Documentary Association’s (IDA) Enterprise Development Fund. MacArthur grantee IDA supports diverse documentary filmmakers to complete their work with monetary resources, training, and mentorship. The $15,000 awards support documentary projects by BIPOC directors and/or producers; five recipients also identify as LGBTQ+, and eight of the filmmakers are women or non-binary.
