The 6th Digital Media and Learning Competition, dubbed Playlists for Learning, will offer year-long development grants totaling $700,000 to create innovative learning playlists that close the opportunity gap and help learners succeed in the 21st century. A learning playlist is a curated group of digital and connected learning experiences and resources such as videos, website, books, games, and more that are woven together into a sequenced pathway centered on a common theme. The international Playlists for Learning competition, administered by HASTAC in partnership with the University of California of Humanities Research Institute, and supported by MacArthur, will offer grants ranging from $25,000 to $125,000. Applications are due May 13, 2016.
