The Climate Finance Partnership brings together more than 60 philanthropies, governments, and asset managers committed to investing in renewable energy and other carbon reduction initiatives in middle-income countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Most of the world’s poorest people live in middle-income countries, which also grapple with large climate finance gaps. Aligned Intermediary is designing the Partnership with support from Convergence, both of whom are MacArthur grantees. Aligned Intermediary aims to create financial pathways from investors to emerging markets through blended finance to help investors meet environmental goals and scale their investments.
