Hive Learning Networks has announced the first round of grants for its Hive Fashion Forward project, which seeks to engage youth in creative production in fashion and multimedia storytelling. The program is administered by the MacArthur-supported Mozilla Foundation, which links youth interests with peer culture and potential academic and professional choices. The selected projects will receive support for the development and implementation of projects ranging from wearable technology and documenting street fashion to creating a new teen apparel brand.
