A coalition of foundations and family offices launched The Tipping Point Fund, a donor collaborative geared toward scaling the practice of impact investing. As part of the Presidents’ Council on Impact Investing, MacArthur is an inaugural funder and contributed to the initial $12.5 million to make field building grants in two key areas: public engagement and policy; and data, metrics, and measurement. The U.S. Impacting Investing Alliance convenes the Council of 19 leading foundations, which developed the collaborative, with a shared commitment to practicing and promoting impact investing.
