Billions of women around the world are still fighting for equal rights, and what judges say have a tremendous influence on the challenges and opportunities women encounter. A video produced by MacArthur Grantee the New Media Advocacy Project and Women’s Link Worldwide seeks to raise awareness of the importance of judicial decisions in the lives of women, their families, and communities. The video was created to kick off the 2013 Gender Justice Uncovered Awards, a global effort to hold courts accountable for their decisions and to enable average citizens and civil society to help in promoting gender justice and human rights.
