World Learning

World Learning is a nonprofit organization that works to empower people and strengthen institutions through education, development, and exchange programs. It will use this grant to provide scholarships to Chicago-area low-income young men of color to attend its new Experiment in International Living Leadership Institute program. Launching in early 2015, the Leadership Institute will bring together 30 top students from across the country to study global issues, develop leadership skills, and plan for community action projects during summer travel, international family home stays, and study abroad opportunities in the fields of global health and human rights.
