Westside Media Project

The mission of the Westside Media Project is to expose students and area residents to networks, opportunities, and pathways in media-related fields. The Westside Media Project works with young people to develop a voice on the issues that impact them and their neighborhoods with a goal of establishing more civic awareness and engagement. Westside Media Project helps its participants of all ages develop media and tech-related interests to utilize their words, voices, and skill sets to tell their own stories for individual and community transformation. This award enables Westside Media Project to produce a series of interviews with frontline, violence prevention leaders.
