University of San Diego, Trans-Border Institute

Research by the Trans-Border Institute (TBI) at the University of San Diego contributes understanding to the dysfunction of judicial systems and police in Mexico, offering insights to U.S. and Mexican policymakers on how to improve these systems. Under this project, TBI will provide data, including studies, surveys, and reports, to accelerate justice reforms. The project’s analyses are expected to be used by senior decision-makers and to provide direction for comprehensive, grounded, and informed policies to improve the overall functioning of the justice system in Mexico.
