Journalism professors at the University of Nebraska, in partnership with faculty at the University of Illinois and Northwestern University, in collaboration with Univision are hosting MobileMe&You, a national conference that provides teaching and training of best practices in mobile and social media tools and techniques for journalism. The conference is intended for  journalism and media faculty, students and practitioners. This grant provides travel support to encourage diverse and under-represented groups to attend the conference. Specifically, grant funds will enable teachers and students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities attend the conference.
