The Mississippi River Basin Ag & Water Desk, housed at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Missouri School of Journalism, is a publishing collaborative whose journalism focuses on agriculture, water, and related environmental issues throughout the nation’s largest watershed. In partnership with Report for America, the Ag & Water Desk places and supports journalists in local newsrooms across the region to report on topics critical to community health and sustainability. The award provides flexible project support.
