UK Citizens Online Democracy

UK Citizens Online Democracy, also known as mySociety, is a UK-based not-for-profit social enterprise that builds and shares digital technologies in order to give people the power to promote democracy and freedom of information in communities. This award supports attendance at mySociety’s 2020 civic technology conference, TICTeC, in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Attendance at this conference enables participants to meet and learn from other civic technology actors. The expected outcome is an improved understanding of how new media and technology can be used to advance governance and accountability.
