The Conversation Africa

Founded in 2015, The Conversation Africa is a team of experienced editors across Africa who work collaboratively with the continent's leading academics to produce easy-to-understand articles based on their research and expertise. Its articles are free to read and free to republish. With this award, the Conversation brings journalistic flair paired with academic rigor to produce an ongoing narrative of news analysis, expertise, and research on accountability and corruption for the uptake of the Nigerian public, policymakers, and media. The Conversation Africa is collaborating with Foundation grantees in implementing the project. The award contributes to On Nigeria's goal of reducing corruption and strengthening accountability, transparency, and participation.
