Target Area Development Corporation

Target Area Development Corporation (Target Area) is a regional grassroots social justice organization in the Chicago area that builds leadership and capacity in communities to solve stubborn problems using research, organizing, mobilization, and education. Target Area’s programs focus primarily on criminal justice reform, re-entry of formerly incarcerated individuals to their communities, and violence prevention. With this award, Target Area convenes residents of Englewood and Auburn-Gresham to develop a coordinated plan for  gun violence prevention in their neighborhoods.
