ResilNC

ResilNC provides data-driven analysis to improve the economic condition of businesses in historically marginalized communities, their owners, employees, and communities. Through data analytics, capital innovations, reports, convenings, and direct engagement with business owners, ResilNC helps local businesses acquire commercial real estate. Its goals are to help create generational wealth by enabling local business owners to build real estate equity and to combat the pressures of gentrification that might force them to relocate out of their home communities. 

This award for general operations will support ResilNC’s current activities during a time when it plans to expand operations into Chicago. Funding for this grant is provided jointly by the Chicago Commitment and Impact Investing and is being make in support of the Chicago Commitment’s Vital Communities strategy.
