Recipe for Change (RFC) mission is to provide culinary education, job skills, cultural awareness, and mentoring to non-violent detainees of Cook County Jail thereby reducing recidivism and improving quality of life for the individual and community.
RFC currently operates with limited volunteer resources and the Holiday Award will enable the hiring of a part-time person to provide critical support to the organization and provide additional resources for insurance, rent/office expenses and professional fees.
