Purposeful UK

Purposeful is a feminist movement-building hub for girls and young women. The organization amplifies girls’ voices, resources their resistance, builds solidarity between and across girls’ movements, catalyzes collaborative philanthropy, and supports innovation in grassroots programming with and for girls. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, female-identifying individuals have experienced higher rates of gender-based violence, gendered poverty, unbalanced caregiving responsibilities, forced marriage, and lack of access to education. The Global Resilience Fund for Girls and Young Women, managed by Purposeful, is a pooled 'pop-up fund' created to respond to the needs of young feminists. This grant provides Purposeful with support to the Global Resilience Fund for Girls and Young Women.
