Partnership for Inclusive Disaster Strategies

The Partnership for Inclusive Disaster Strategies (Partnership), founded in 2019 and based in Philadelphia, PA, is the only U.S. disability-led, 501(c)(3) with a mission of supporting equity for people with disabilities and people with access and functional needs throughout all planning, programs, services, and procedures before, during, and after disasters and emergencies. In response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the Partnership is working with Fight for Right—a national Ukrainian non-profit human rights organization founded and led by women with disabilities—to organize emergency services in the form of evacuation, medication, and legal advice to disabled people in Ukraine. This grant provides support to the Partnership and Fight for Right's disability-led response in Ukraine.
