OPRF Film

OPRF FILM, LLC is producing To Bridge the Divide, a documentary series that explores historical and ongoing efforts at Oak Park River Forest (OPRF) High School in suburban Chicago, to address racial equity, improve academic performance and reduce the achievement gap among students of color and their white peers. The film follows a diverse group of OPRF students and their families, teachers and administrators, organizations and sports teams as they grapple with race and achievement over a school year. This grant’s deliverable will be a multipart miniseries intended for broad distribution on television and as an educational resource to schools and communities.
