Nomoha Media will produce the documentary film Carbon Trade/Off, directed by David Soto-Karlin and produced by Aaron Soto-Karlin, which follows a California plan to address global change. Under the plan, California polluters would pay Mexican forest communities to conserve the Lacandon Jungle in the southern state of Chiapas, to offset California’s carbon emissions. Carbon Trade/Off follows the responses of the various communities and individuals crafting and affected by the plan, revealing the complex human and contextual stories behind the emerging global carbon market.
