The Newbery Library also operates a research scholars program and professional development opportunities for educators. It collaborates with organizations in Chicago and beyond to make the humanities more accessible and relevant to diverse audiences. This award provides general operating support to the Newberry Library as part of the Foundation’s Culture, Equity, and the Arts program.
