New Thoughts Media Support Foundation

New Thoughts Media Support Foundation (NTMSF) was established in 2023 as a nonprofit to give journalists and citizens modern digital tools to demand transparency and accountability from the government. The final award to NTMSF trains journalists in investigative and data-driven journalism and explores innovative business models to sustain investigative journalism and media practice in Nigeria. The organization is compiling and publishing a database of information from freedom of information requests. Finally, it is using civic technology tools to promote good governance. NTMSF coordinates the implementation of the project with other Foundation grantees. The award contributes to On Nigeria's goal of reducing corruption and strengthening accountability, transparency, and participation.
