New Georgia Project

The mission of the New Georgia Project is to register to vote all eligible, unregistered citizens of color in Georgia and to be the center of organizing and civic engagement for people of color throughout the state. It also collaborates with peers in North Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia to challenge policies designed to curb voting rights and access. With this award for general operating support, the New Georgia Project pursues outreach, communications, research, and litigation related to voter engagement and voting rights.
