Network for Health Equity and Development

The Network for Health Equity and Development is a Nigerian nonprofit for strengthening health systems and the development of the health sector. This award enables the Network to support prevention of the spread of coronavirus by monitoring and supporting response systems at the federal and state levels and promoting awareness among Nigerian residents. The Network runs a multi-stakeholder situation room for health experts, policymakers, and civil society where it educates the public, monitors and supports the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, and advocates to strengthen state response systems for COVID-19.
