National Guild for Community Arts Education

This grant will provide one-time support to the National Guild for Community Arts Education’s 2013 annual conference, which will be held in Chicago from October 30 - November 2 in Chicago. It is the only national conference designed to address the specific needs of nonprofit arts education organizations. The conference draws over 500 community arts education leaders representing more than 300 organizations across the country. Members of the National Guild in Illinois include at least eight MacArthur Foundation grantees. The conference will be an opportunity for Chicago organizations to gain information and exchange ideas while showcasing their best practices on a national stage.
