Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation

The Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation supports U.S.-based performing arts entities by facilitating their ability to tour and perform overseas at international festivals and other events. The Arts Foundation administers USArtists International (USAI), a program that awards small grants to enable American musicians, dancers, and theater groups to perform internationally. This award ensures that more Chicago artists will be able to participate in the USAI program. Simultaneously, the Arts Foundation is building relationships with regional arts councils, equivalent entities, and funders in the Chicago area, and eventually across the United States. These partnerships will leverage local support for artists from particular geographic areas, enhancing their opportunities to perform overseas.
