Michigan League of Conservation Voters Education Fund (MLCVEF), founded in 2003 is the preeminent organization in Michigan working at the intersection of democracy and climate action. The Michigan League of Conservation Voters Education Fund’s Democracy for All program works to accomplish two goals: drive voter engagement and create real systemic change to ensure access to the ballot -- making every voice heard to ensure a healthy democracy. MLCVEF’s work benefits every Michigander, but especially those who are most harmed by polluted waterways, dirty air, and other environmental hazards resulting from the fossil fuel industry. This award supports the organization’s general operations.
