Grants

2024 (1 year 9 months)
$2,600,000

The Philanthropy Data Commons (https://philanthropydatacommons.org/) launched in 2021 with one big idea: how to ease the bureaucratic pain of applying for grants? The PDC works with organizations seeking grants (changemakers), philanthropic funders, and technology vendors to solve data challenges and make the sharing of information simpler. The PDC addresses consent and the secure sharing of data across siloed institutions. Through shared governance and integrations, the PDC simplifies basic tasks, connects systems, enables partners to build additional technology applications to meet the needs of the sector, and leverages AI to solve seemingly intractable problems.
