Lumiere Productions will produce Road to Home, a documentary directed by Cal Skaggs that explores the crisis of LGBT youth homelessness in New York City. The film follows six young people from diverse backgrounds struggling with homelessness, while also profiling the work of the Ali Forney Center, a nonprofit organization serving LGBT homeless youth in the city. The film weaves together the backstories of the youth and the circumstances that led them to living on the streets, along with their journey to find not only basic shelter, but also stability and community.
