Lincoln Institute of Land Policy

The Center for Community Investment is a project of the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. The Institute uses creative approaches to the use, taxation, and stewardship of land to address global economic, social, and environmental challenges that threaten quality of life. The Center for Community Investment is a new initiative devoted to strengthening disadvantaged communities.  to achieve their economic, social and environmental priorities through finance. Using a combination of financial support, technical assistance, leadership development, research and shared learning networks, the Center builds the capacity of local leaders to define strategic priorities and guide public and private investment toward those goals, thereby improving the lives of people in low-income communities. Grant funds are being used for general operating expenses of the Center in furtherance of its mission.
