Founded in 1903, Jewish Community Centers of Chicago (JCC Chicago) is the largest Jewish community center in North America, serving more than 60,000 children, teens, adults, seniors and families each year. Signature programming includes day camps, overnight camps, early childhood centers, recreation and fitness centers, and spaces for community engagement. With this award, JCC Chicago presents Violins of Hope Chicago, a touring collection of rescued string instruments that were played by Jewish musicians before and during the Holocaust.
