Ipas, Mexico

Ipas Mexico works to end unsafe abortion and expand access to safe abortion and contraception. The award supports a multi-organizational collaborative with Mexico City’s Ministry of Health to transfer in-person abortion services to medication abortion through telemedicine, and to provide women-centered maternal and reproductive health care in the context of COVID-19. The work is part of a broader strategy to help social justice organizations respond to the inequitable impact of the pandemic in Mexico.
