Inside Climate News

This award provides general operating support to Inside Climate News. Founded in 2007, Inside Climate News (ICN) is the oldest and largest dedicated climate newsroom in the nation. ICN is nonpartisan and exists to publish essential reporting, investigation, and analysis about the climate crisis. A Pulitzer Prize-winning nonprofit, ICN counters misinformation, holds polluters responsible, exposes environmental injustice and scrutinizes solutions. Through its fellowship program, ICN also provides hands-on newsroom experience for emerging reporters wanting to specialize in climate, environment and justice reporting. This general support enables ICN to continue making its climate reporting available to media partners for free and to the public without a paywall.
