The Foundation’s recommended program-related investment, along with capital provided by other philanthropic investors and senior debt providers, is essential to this pioneering financial intermediary’s ability to grow its total asset base and achieve sustainable operations, while also demonstrating the viability of clean energy lending and investment solutions that are targeted to underserved communities. Over the life of this loan, Inclusive Prosperity Capital expects to deploy solar on over 200 underserved buildings, while also supporting clean energy projects in over 2,500 single family residences, and over 150 multifamily buildings (which assists over 5,000 rental families in those multifamily units).
