Impact Guild Inc.

The Impact Guild is a professional network for people who create, use, or distribute media, arts, or entertainment for social good and a healthy democracy. Launched in 2020, today the Impact Guild is made up of more than 400 individuals, including media executives, independent content creators, journalists, academics, artists, campaigners, strategists, funders, influencers, and others who apply for membership and are invited in through an expert peer group model inspired by the structure of the Writer’s Guild of America (WGA). The Impact Guild is designed to help coalesce the emergent culture change field by running programming to connect, support, and activate its members on issues of shared concern. It aspires toward more collaboration across all forms and sectors of media and entertainment and greater collective impact on issues of shared concern.

The Impact Guild is a new nonprofit launched in 2020 to connect, empower, and activate people who use media, technology, and popular culture for social good and healthy democracies. With a membership of more than 300 senior leaders, experts, executives, advocates, and activists around the world, the Impact Guild is committed to supporting and growing its membership by providing opportunities for networking, learning, and collaboration around the most pressing issues of the day. March 3-4, 2022, the Impact Guild will hold its first annual gathering in Atlanta, GA. The gathering, which focus on exploring issues related to information disorder and its impact on democracy, will bring together expert presenters on disinformation to educate Impact Guild members on the topic and inspire them to develop new ideas and approaches for addressing information disorder in their work.
