Impact America Fund III, LP

Impact America Fund III, LP is a new $100,000,000 fund focused on systemic racial inequity as both a social crisis and a market inefficiency in multi-billion-dollar industries. The Fund, which builds on the Foundation-supported Impact America Fund II, will make investments in technology-enabled businesses across a variety of sectors that support new models, products, and services that address the needs of under-resourced communities (e.g., economic, ethnic, etc.) and whose founders have lived experience with the communities, markets, or issues they seek to address. The Fund expects to deliver market-rate financial returns that are tightly coupled with concrete impact returns for Black and Brown workers, families, and small businesses. A follow-on investment in Impact America Fund III, LP will enable the Fund’s manager to continue building its track record and demonstrate that by making investments in companies often overlooked by conventional investors, the Fund will provide a scalable blueprint for the investment of more catalytic and conventional capital into under-resourced communities of color, and foster innovation that leads to a more equitable, just, and inclusive future.
