Hustle Mommies

Hustle Mommies is a Chicago-based organization seeking to ensure that the voices of mothers in urban environments are heard, and that mothers are supported as they work to improve their communities. With this award, Hustle Mommies invites mothers who have been affected by gun violence to share their stories in Washington, DC, with similarly situated individuals and organizations that support victims of gun violence.

Hustle Mommies is a Chicago-based organization seeking to ensure that the voices of mothers in urban environments are heard, and that mothers are supported as they work to improve their communities. Each year, Hustle Mommies presents a series of events called Paint the Hood Orange. With this award, Hustle Mommies invites Chicago residents to a series of holiday events in 2022 and to planning sessions for Paint the Hood Orange events in 2023.
