Healthcare Ready is a non-profit organization working to protect the health of all people by making the healthcare supply chain more resilient and responsive to disruptions in the communities served.  It develops and leverages unique relationships with government, nonprofit, and medical supply organizations to build such resilience before, during, and after disasters.  Healthcare Ready focuses on communities of color hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, to mobilize support systems with appropriately scaled interventions, programs, and policy shifts needed to address healthcare access limitations.  It also coordinates response and recovery action plans to ensure that resources applied are used to make such recovery from the pandemic socially equitable. These efforts will result in improved access to medical products (including personal protective equipment and donated supplies), resources and tools for sharing up-to-date information on vaccines and therapeutics with targeted communities, real-time training for healthcare facilities and community leaders, and coordination and information-sharing across sectors (public, private, nonprofit) to provide visibility on risks, opportunities, and potential alignment within a trusted community network.
